Sarah is an amazing teacher. She really eases her students into the world of freelancing in no-pressure way that provides plenty of resources and a step-by-step approach to accomplishing everything a new business owner needs to get going.

The thought and care Sarah puts into this course and walking folks through how to set up a successful freelance business is tangible at every step. I've been a designer for a decade when I took this course and went in thinking I had a good sense of what I needed to do and just needed some templates, but in the three weeks with Sarah learned SO MUCH valuable information that I hadn't even thought of. While a lot of work, I feel innumerable more prepared for how to get my freelance business off the ground, in a way I wouldn't have had I opted to figure everything out myself.

Sarah is a great instructor and a fabulous resource. She took a fairly scary concept of being your own boss and breaking it down to remove some fear! The assignments were always in service of getting you towards your final goal and the discussions she led with the other students in class were super valuable. I'd recommend this course for anyone who's considering going out on their own!
